It took a while but I’ve finally posted some pictures from Tom and Sarah’s wedding last Saturday. These are just the black and white pictures from the first roll I had. When I finish the roll of Velvia in my camera right now I’ll get some slides up here.

Five men in a Landrover + Mud = Fun.

Ben took a bunch of pictures, which Alex has posted “here”:http://www.adventioneering.com/o2.php?/gallery/gal0040. I took quite a few as well, but they’re on film, so I’ll have them up in a few days. It was muddy and winchy and I drove the LR a bit through the muddy mud. Fun stuff.

I started my summer job at the Energy Resource Station (part of the “Iowa Energy Center”:http://www.energy.iastate.edu/) on Monday. It’s a very neat facility. The amount of instrumentation installed and available with a few mouse clicks on a computer is amazing. If you like buildings or HVAC or anything like that this place is it.

I spent the last few days going over the record drawings of the facility itself, getting a handle on how the equipment is configured and located and everything else. I had to look a few things up in the ASHRAE handbook, but I’m getting a really good feel for how the place works. I’m also making enough money to get me through the summer.
