Snow!

It’s snowing! There’s lots of snow on the ground, and I tried to make a snowman, but it’s too cold and the snow doesn’t pack very well. I was willing to skip class for that snowman, too.

Class was so boring today, I fell asleep more than once. I really don’t have anything I need to get done tonight, so I’m very tempted to just go to bed early and sleep a long long time. I’m so tired.

FTP

Ramuh is running well. I have set up FTP and web serving, and administer the whole thing from my main computer. Now I just need to decide what to do with this darn thing.

Hub

Hahaha, I bought a 4 port hub from Russ in Friley, and now both systems are up and running beautifully. I can remotely control the PPro 200 from the P3 500. It’s slick. Now I just need to figure out what to do with the damn thing. Linux server maybe?

PPro

Heh, I bought a Pentium Pro 200 MHz computer last night. No real reason for it, but it’s a pretty decent rig, and as soon as I get it properly hooked up to the network I think I might turn it into a server for remote applications and file storage. There’s no reason for me to do this, but it might be fun.

Great Weekend

This weekend was great. The weather was beautiful, so on Saturday I went running, then for a long bike ride and visited some friends. Saturday night I went out to hear the Karaoke championships (most of the people singing were really damn good). On Sunday my dad and I went golfing. In January. Too bad it can’t stay nice outside. I can’t wait for summer.

Long Week

Conisdering it only lasted 4 days, this has been a long week. I’m glad it’s over. I got my resume updated and revised, and a few guys are gonna look over it and give me suggestions.

Here’s a funny Dilbert comic for you. Kids are great, aren’t they?

Ross Party

Last night was a like a party at Ross’s house. I went over there to work on some homework, and the first person I see on the way in is Andy, and he doesn’t live there. Then I saw Sam, and Ross was playing FFX. Ben was there, and Jess came home, so there were lots of people, many of whom I hadn’t seen in a long time. I wonder if they always have that many people hanging around. It would make life kinda strange, I think, if they always had 4 or 5 people over.

Sunday

Alright, it’s like today is Saturday instead of Sunday, because I don’t have class tomorrow, or work. I’m gonna have to get my homework done though, and I suppose I ought to do that early in the day. That means I need to call Ross. I should have done so a lot earlier, but it’s been a busy (and rough in some ways) weekend.

I think tomorrow I might change my oil, after I get my homework done. Then I’ll wash my car, because I can’t stand driving a dirty vehicle.

Done Early

Hey everybody. It’s Thursday night, not that that means anything. I got my homework done kinda early, and I’ve wasted the whole damn night. I need to learn to create so that on days like this I feel like I’ve accomplished something. Then I wouln’t care that I didn’t go anywhere, because I’d have done something. Oh well, I plan to go do something with Robert tomorrow, before he heads back to New York. If things are good it might just involve alcohol in some shape or form.

College Bad

Hmm, apparently, college is bad for girls, as this brochure demonstrates. If you send your daughter to college you might as well be sending her to hell.
